I’m back from my annual Pied Piper Travel post-Thanksgiving, week-long cruise, and I think I need a vacation to rest up from my vacation. What a lot of ports in just one week!

Serenade in Antigua.
The ship left San Juan, Puerto Rico on Saturday, November 11, at 10 pm, and since I had late seating for dinner, I wasn’t able to see the fort of Old San Juan at night as we left. However, I did get to see the fort on the morning of our return. What a picture-perfect view right outside my cabin balcony.
On vacations, I tend to be an early picture taker. I start out with a bang, snapping photos of almost everything for the first day or two. But by day three and on to the end of the trip, I have stopped bothering.
I did try to be better about it on this trip. Since we had a port of call every morning except the last day, I would wake up as we were arriving in the harbor and as I watched each island’s landscape from my balcony, I would remember to snap a photo of myself. I think I have one from every morning. (Now, if I can remember which port is which!)
As I’ve reviewed my pictures and those of my travel buddies, I noticed something interesting. The type of pictures the person took tended to reflect their Sister in The Four Sisters Groove.
My roommate on the cruise is a strong Stacey. Stacey’s being the out-going, life of the party mostly like interacting with people. This was clearly reflected in his photos. He had a people in almost every one of them!
Now, the photos I took were mostly of landscapes and inanimate objects, except for those self-portraits I took every morning. My Gina style certainly shows up in my vacation photos! Compared to my Stacey roommate, I hardly reflect anyone in the pictures of my vacation.
I saw similar results in other traveling buddies’ photos. Their communication style as shown by The Four Sisters was depicted in the photos they took.
Check your photos and see if you notice the same thing.
